Setup
PSU : Corsair HX750W
CPU : Intel Core i7 4820K @ 3.70GHz
MB : ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC. RAMPAGE IV EXTREME (LGA2011)
GPU : 3071MB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780 (Gigabyte)
RAM : 8,00GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 534MHz
CPU Fan : Corsair Hydro H60
Case : CM Trooper

Been running fine for 4-5 years now. I was sure it would be fine after cleaning the fan and the cooling element besides the fan, but the temp is still way to high. If i play games for too long the pc will turn off or give me bluescreen.

Tried to turn on computer, got CPU temp to high, went into bios said 88.00 degrees. Cleaned the fan, tried to tighten the cooling element harder so its closer to CPU.

The thermal compound is really old, planning to wash the cooling element and CPU and apply new paste, can this be the only problem? What else can i do ? Thank you in advance.

First i used speccy, speccy is telling me 60 in idle.
Tried speedfan telling me 90 idle.

You can check to see if the pump is working by feeling both tubes and/or simply listening for the pump/liquid starting to move on bootup. If one tube feels warm while the other cool, its not working.

Also, since your AIO is a Corsair product, download Corsair Link and that will help you customize your cooling. You should know that the fan speed is determined by the temperature of the liquid in the tubes, not the temp of the CPU.

Hopefully it just needs a fresh application of thermal paste.

Went into bios and the rpm of the pump was 4700 rpm and the fan speed 2000. Now the pc wont even boot. Did what you said one of the tubes were alot hotter then the other. So i guess i need a new cpu fan

So i tried with Corsair Link, says my cpu is around 50 degrees. Says my Pump is at 4700 rpm. But i dont trust it. Every monitor software ive tried is saying something different. HWmonitor : 93, Corsair link : 50, Speccy : 50, Speed fan : 92. Im just gonna change my cpu fan and buy thermal compound. Thank you all
