cpu idle core usage high

hello, im using intel core 2 quad q6600 processor. when i am not doing any thing cpu usage shows that core usage is pretty high like 70%.Then i formated my pc and it worked... But now its happening again. so games are lagging. any idea thank you!!!

Open task manager and see what process is creating all the usage. Probably system idle process ?

go to msconfig then disable all under startup tab. Download anti malware or anti spyware and run it. Processes running at the background causing your cpu to always work

System idle process is a null usage that really has no impact on anything. When any other process requires resources system idle process will drop to zero.
