[SOLVED] CPU is at 93+ Degrees Celcius

Hi, I just built a new pc. I have a Ryzen 5 2600 with the stock cpu cooler. I opened up Speccy and it says that the CPU is at 93+ degrees celcius while I’m surfing the internet. The only reason I can think of is because I faced the CPU cooler in a direction where I couldn’t put the ram sticks in and I quickly took the cooler off a placed it in a different direction without reapply thermal paste. Should I have reapplied thermal paste? I’m not sure what to do as I don’t want to ruin the CPU. All my other components seem fine in terms of temperature. The CPU cooler is also running. What should I try?

Repaste. Properly. Chances are extremely good that some of that paste stuck to the cpu, and some to the cooler. So when you changed orientation, you doubled the paste in some spots and left none in others.
