Cpu is overheating and pc shutting down.!

First of all hello to Tom's Hardware and users.!
So, it's been 2years and I'm using AMD FX 8320. I was using stock cooler on first three months then I bought Cooler Master TX3 EVO and used it for 7-8months then again the stock cooler.. In between the changing off those cooler, My cooler master heatsink's thermal paste ended up by using. Yesterday I thought about using the tx3 evo again as the stock cooler's noise take attention of my father when I gingerly gaming at night and bought new thermal paste for rupees 100($2) and used it and set the tx3. But when I ran my pc it shutted down in 1minute. Again for next two times then checked the temperature in the bios and found the cpu overheating(starting at 40 degree Celsius and shutting down on around 70degrees). I changed it to the stock cooler but same problem. I don't overclock.. Using Asus m5a99 fx pro 2.0 mobo ... Heatsink and fan are cleaned and okay. Should I buy better branded thermal paste or anything else? Plz help!

Thermal paste shouldn't cause that. I think that you must have mounted it wrong. Try doing so again. If when you do you find the thermal paste hasn't been disturbed, your cooler never made contact and that was your problem.

Your cpu cooler is most likely not seated properly on the cpu. Reinstall it correctly.

I reinstalled it over 7-8 times.. Both the stock cooler and Tx3 evo. It has been mounted correctly. 🙁

So finally found the problem and my doubt was right. It wasn't the mounting problem, It was the Cheap Thermal Grease which took me into problem. I applied a Intel processor's stock thermal paste(got it luckily from a Shop by 250/-) and now my cpu is running at 34degree Celsius on idle and 55-58 on Gaming..
Man learns from his own mistake and I ordered Arctic Silver 5.. )
