Cpu is very slow..

I just bought a new intel i5-4670k, and it is acting so slow... i'm also having alot of delay.. i don't know if its windows 8.1 or what, but the mobo is gigabyte z87-hd3 its an ok board, i'm not having any problems out of it, i'm just lost.. idk, 8gb of ram too...

Can you run any benchmarks that might quantify how slow it is?

alright so i did that, and the benchmark was good, the bench mark showed my hard drive was the issue, replaced it, and its running very well now, thank you...
