Hello guys, I having some PC build issue and really need your help. I add a new GPU to my pc and when I restart the pc cpu led on motherboard is red. Then going to a loop shut down and restart over and over. Even I remove my GPU it is still red and same issue occurred. The pc was working perfectly fine before.

The system I have
  • Case: MB 530P
  • Mobo: Z390 pro Wi-Fi
  • CPU: Intel 9700k
  • RAM: 2x8gb corsair vengeance
  • GPU: Did not used one then now add new MSI RTX 2080 SUPER X Trio
  • PSU: Thermaltake toughpower grand 850w.

what should I do to fix it. Any help will be great.

reset the BIOS by jumper
is the 8pin ATX12V power connector still plugged in?

install the 2080 and plug all PCIe power connectors to the 2080super

plug in the monitor cable to the 2080
disconnect all cables, RAM and reconnect

check the CPU socket pins of the motherboard for bent or discolored pins
Tried, still wouldn’t post cpu led is still red and restart loop. Could it be my cpu cable is faulty? I did get out my psu by a little bit of force. Maybe I get a new cpu cable.

I find I have damage a single trance with screwdriver when I was installing motherboard. Is this why system would POST from CPU. Any way to fix it?
