CPU maximum RAM support

The intel description page says the processor i7-8750H supports 64GB RAM. But the Alienware laptop that uses the same CPU mentions that the maximum RAM is only 32GB.... What might be the reason???

Motherboard has only two slots and each slot can handle maximum 16gb of memory thats why max of 32gb

slots CPU support 64 but in 4x16 config and laptop have just 2x16 slots available.
