Oh and yes you are right. The CPU you have chosen will not support PCIe 3.0 but i wouldn't worry about that since it is not that big of a difference. Building a budget pc you will probably go for a PCIe 2.0 graphics card anyway.

I was thinking about the 7770. But from what you said, the CPU only supports PCI 2. Does this mean I have to change my graphics card?
Thanks for the reply.

No. You needn't change the card. The difference in performance between PCIe 3.0 and 2.0 is almost negligible. So you should be fine with the 7770 and is a good choice for budget pc, but i would advise you to check out the 7850. The cheapest i found them are from gigabyte.

Yeah, the 7850 looks like a great choice. Thanks for the help.

This is my build so far. I decided to bag the 7850. I only found it around $180-$200, and I'm trying to keep the build around $400. Any suggestions?

Ok what about the Nvidia gtx 650 Ti? Its $10 more and it gives better performance. In my experience the nvidia cards run smoother and without micro stutters. I was having issues with amd and those micro stutters drove me crazy.

Your case does not support USB 3.0 and your motherboard does. So consider that also if you use any fast USB 3.0 devices which will be more and more often in the near future.

You could save some money on CPU changing it to G860, that is close to the one You have chosen, but preformance differencies will not be noticible.

As for GPU 7850 is much better than 7770 or 650 ti, but if it is to expensive, better go with overclocked hd 7770 version, because its close to 650ti, but uses less power.

Money, thet You save You could use to buy caviar black HDD instead of caviar blue, because black is more durable.
