I am interested in buying the MEG Trident X 10TE-1281US which releases 1/1/2021. The cpu is a i7-10700k. I believe the motherboard will be a MSI MEG Z490i Unify because that is what came with the 2020 model. I don't know if I can upgrade the motherboard so my question is will this system be able to run the most demanding games at the highest settings for 10 years to come if I am only able to upgrade the other components.? P.S. Will the default memory option be good enough for the future or would you upgrade that? Thank you

Will having the equivalent of the rtx 3080 at that future time be powerful enough to play games at high settings without changing the cpu or motherboard?

When it comes to gaming builds you're looking at a 4 - 5 year turnover on average ... as in building a new rig. Case, and sometimes the psu and SSD are salvageable for a new build but that's as far as it goes. $3,000 for a gaming build such as that prebuilt in your link is an insane amount of money. If you don't want to build one yourself you'd be better off purchasing the parts and taking it to someone such as a computer shop and having them build it for you after you receive the components.
