Hello guys,

Ryzen 5 7600x3D
Asus Prime X670P CSM
EVGA 850W SuperNOVA 850G XC
2X 16 GB DDR5 5600 MHZ Kingston cl36 Fury
Asus Tuf Gaming RTX 4070 oc

Questions:
1st my cpu was overheated 3 times because standoffs from liquid cooler were unscrewed which caused no pressure on cpu and i thought they were and that caused cpu turned off untill i finally checked cooler and saw that. Now i use the that cpu for about 2 month and not sure cpu is dead.

2nd question, since i bought mbo there was alot problems with it. I think mybe mbo might be faulty. But not sure. I’m gaming normally no cpu overheating nor MBO but sometimes my pc acts slowly on startup of Windows like iregullary. I have Avira antivirus. I changed antivirus to this one cause its least expensive. Like I said system sometimes upon startup behaves like working slowmotion. MBO is 1 year old BIOS updated to latest. Drivers installed from Asus. Dont know the cause. I was thinking of letting my pc to be serviced so they see whats wrong. All stuff from same seller and eveything is in warranty.

Any suggestions. Yesterday I Installed windows like supost to.

Hi,

Running EXPO on this setup makes it stable cause I did that and raised Vdd and Vddq and its ok now. I raised this voltages on 1.35 V for Vdd and Vddq is on 1.34 V. Also I ordered from seller DDR5 6000 MHz cl 30 this time. Thanks. And one thing to edit: I had turned on setting in bios that clears tpm every restart and after i turned it off seems like even better. I mean that is just when you change cpu or similar. I ask my self why was it on, probably during my “efforts” during windows installation. So you all guys need to know the best way to set bios before anything. Now it seems fine.
The PC shut off due to thermal protection, which is normal. So long as you don't continue to keep running said system like this, is when you have nothing to worry about. How are you cooling the processor again? As for the build, what is the make and model of your chassis?

The sweet spot for AMD's Ryzen 7000 and 9000 series processors is DDR5-6000MHz, dual channel with tight latencies. Is AMD's E.X.P.O enabled in BIOS?

You could've paired the processor with a B650 chipset, would've(assuming) been cheaper than getting an X670 board. What BIOS version are you on for your motherboard(for the sake of relevance, we look for version)?

Make and model of your storage options?

Moved thread from Components section to Systems section.

At seaside i have outdated certificates for internet connection ( operators fault) maybe that can cause that. Then I switched today on phone tethering and recently didnt experienced issue from before. I will monitor and see if anything wrong happens.
