Everything was fine till last night when i played far cry 5. this morning I switched on my pc and noticed a slight lag in video playback , thn i started to play game and saw consistent lagging in my games. tried playing multiple games. when i checked on speccy and saw my CPU and Motherboard temps are going above 70°C but less thn 80°C.

what might be the problem?
is it the cpu thermal paste or something else?

all other components like GPU , Hard disk , PSU are normal, less thn 40°C.

Solution
Original thermal compound is some chewing gum like gunk that hardens up, cracks and doesn't transfer heat any more. Be careful when taking cooler off, it can be stuck very hard. If it's stuck, heat it up and twist cooler left and right after releasing hooks or it may pull CPU right out of the socket.

my specs are
Windows 10 pro 64bit
AMD FX 6300 CPU
Kingston 16GB dual channel DDR3
Asus M5A78L-M LX3 motherboard
Nvidia geforce GTX 1050 Ti
Western digital 1Tb and Seagate 500 Gb storage

yes they do. Fan (CPU FAN) make lot of noise too. I have a stock fan. But i dont know if thats the issue coz ive been using it from last 4 months. It was working fine. last night also it was all good.

ohkay and hey brother i wana mention , even if i am doing normal stuff like browsing and all.. temps are going till 75 C.

I have uploaded images. I hardly can see any problems. If you can check and tell.

Nope. I never changed thermal paste. And its the stock fan out of the box so I want to believe that it is original. I will replace the thermal paste and let you know if any difference. thank you brother.
