Hi all,
EDIT: Undid the motherboard screws and took off the monoblock. Turns out I screwed up with the thermal spread. I wiped off what was there, reapplied the paste in an "X" pattern, and reseated the monoblock. I haven't turned it back on yet, but I'm hoping that will fix the problem.
I'm aware there's many other threads similar to this, but I wasn't quite finding a solution so I'd thought I'd make my own.
So I just recently made the switch from air cooling to water cooling with my PC. All of my parts worked fine prior to making the switch.
At first I was getting the error "USB over current status detected" error for a few days after I had hooked up everything, but after untightening the Mobo screws a bit, I fixed that problem.
Now I'm getting the "CPU over temperature error", and I'm not sure what's causing it. The pump seems to be running fine, the fans are spinning on the radiator, etc. The processor always plateaus at 89 degrees Celsius. I am not using any USB hubs or anything like that.
Please let me know if any other information would be helpful, thanks!
