Hello.
So, I have:
Gigabyte Z170XP-SLI
Corsair h100i V2
Intel Core I7-6700 3.40Ghz 8MB Quad-core
This worked perfectly for around 10 months. CPU temp barely reached 25ºC (idle). Out of blue, it started to reach 60º ON IDLE MODE in less than 5 minutes. So I opened my pc, cleaned everything, changed all thermal paste, but it still doesn't work. After this, I decide to test the watercooler.
I tried to use a friend's Corsair H80 that works fine on his PC. The CPU overheating problem still happened on my PC tho, and it warmed up even faster. When I tried an old random aircooler, it worked like a charm! Unfortunately, I really need a water cooler. So, I've installed Corsair Link on my pc and the PUMP RPM appears as 0.
The fans work fine, and I can't really say if I can feel water movement on the tubes or not. They also remain really cold, even when the CPU is around 65º (that's when I turn the PC off). Thanks in advance!
