So I got a ek a240 loop in my pc when I first installed it I had trouble mounting the cpu waterblock so I used my old cpu waterblock for my aio and it worked but the temps were high so I decided to install the mounting hard wear it came with but two of the standoffs were too big and didn't fit through the motherboard but I filed the standoffs so it would fit but my cpu is even hotter 40C idle 91C to bluescreen during a chinebench run. Im using a i5 8600k at 5ghz at 1.33 volts. (There is dents in the radiator from shipping too if that means anything) I also took a ir temp probe to check the water in the tubes and the temp stayed at 95F idle and load.

Solution
It looks like the waterblock might not be properly seated or the water might not be freely flowing.
Depending on the dents location and how extensive they are, that could prevent water flow.
