Hello anyone who has read this i have a quick probelm...With battlefield 4 and titanfall i have been getting lowfps and stutter 90% everyone says to unpark my cores i used the program that is "suppose" to unpark them but to no avail
so i watched something about unparking cores in regedit and i did what he said and found this http://imgur.com/hYXkIxw, is this why i dont have my cores unparked, is it suppose to be like that? any help is appreciated

Specs FX 6350 oc to 4.0ghz
GTX 660
8gb ddr3 ram

Solution
You might also try going to Power Options, then change the MIN and MAX of the CPU to 100%.

There is a lot of confusion about this problem.

For BF4, Windows 8 works better as well. Not most games, but for BF4 they modified some code. That may be specifically to prevent core parking in Windows 8 but I'm not sure.

You can try this as well: http://coderbag.com/Programming-C/CPU-core-parking-manager

Other:
Your problem MAY be a core parking issue, but it also could be caused by having settings too high, and/or normal issues with these games. I can't say in your case.

I would recommend trying the LOWEST quality settings to see how smooth things run with VSYNC OFF.

Solution
Unparking your cores will not have any noticeable beneficial effect on performance (as you can see). So basically leave that alone.
Your performance issues are caused by a combination of too high settings and not an especially powerful machine.

I just wanted to see so i went into a match of titanfall and i could see using my second monitor that the cpu cores would unparked and repark multiple times in a seconds causes terrible stutter upon parking or unparking again, i do not know if this is the reason for the stutter or something else my gpu seems to still around 88-95 usage tops never reaching max in any game i had played to this day

I thought so too but i never max anything on my pc like stated above titanfall 88-95% tops on the gpu all max settings only thing i would think would be the parking since the most games these days need more then 3 cores and i have 3 unparked and 3 parked

when your cores are unparked it will look like this in the resource monitor look at the 8 cpus on the right if any say parked you are parked

Ive seen this claim made dozens of times, on here and elsewhere, but i've never seen ANY evidence to back it up. I've seen lots of benchmarks over the years that show absolutely no difference whatsoever been parked and unparked, and have never seen even one benchmark that shows any improvement. Do you actually have a link to one or is this just more of the same?

A gtx 660 can't handle BF4 or Titenfall at max settings, it's that simple. There isn't some magic setting you can push to change that. Your GPUmaxing out means it is doing everything it can. Even if unparking your cores DID help your CPU, it doesn't (I assure you, MS knows a bit more about CPU architecture then you, me, and everyone else in this thread put together), but even if it did, it wouldn't matter. The GPU can't handle the data it is being fed as it is, feeding it more will not help.

I am not trying to max out bf4 or titanfall all i am saying is one my GPU isnt maxing out that is the probelm....something is bottlenecking the performance and i think it is the parking because nothing in my system is maxing out...not my cpu nor gpu....i played battlefield highest i seen it get was 98% but only for a second...i feel it should be maxing but it isnt.

Does this have any meaning i noticed that there is only 3 cores unparked ....so i checked and found another file with the same looking files in the regedit right above the ones unparked marked as 06cadf0e-64ed-448a-8927-ce7bf90eb35d could this be the three other cores?

I downloaded it restarted for another reason...then now i did a cold shut down and restarted do i need to restart again?

so unistall both then reinstall the first one and then install the second one, then shut down. then start up and restart again....sorry i am tired 😛
