i read some articals and stuff about pcmcia technologies. i saw that you
could get a CPU PCMCIA card. Can anyone help me find one? my pc is to old to
upgrade the processor. getting a CPU PCMCIA card seems to be the only way to
upgrade my pc and make it a lot faster. Can anyone help me find a CPU PCMCIA
card?

i would be very thankfull if i found one.

It's so much easier to suggest solutions when you don't know too much about
the problem

PCMICIA (PC Cards) are mostly used for things like mass storage or
networking or modems. I've never heard of a PC Card doing anything about
adding a CPU. In fact, I dare say that's unlikely at best. PCs are pretty
inexpensive these days. If your CPU is so old that you want to upgrade you
can do so for very little money and some careful research. One of my
favorite sites is www.pricewatch.com for such things. If you're just looking
for an upgrade to your old CPU for nostalgic reasons you can try
www.evertech.com if you'd like.

A "CPU PCMCIA card" there is no such thing, you find PCMCIA slots on
laptops, there basiclt the laptop equivilent of PCI slots, except the
range of devices you can atach to them is more limited. You can how
ever buy PCMCIA PCI cards, whcih alow you to plug PCMCIA cards into
your PC, but i personly think these are pointless as ou can get PCI
equivilent of moslty every thing you can find as PCMCIA.

I'm not sure that it's even possible to add a CPU via a PC Card. I'm pretty
sure it's not gonna happen. If you can find one and show me an image or a
description of one (if it was ever available there will be some evidence of
it online somewhere) I'd be interested in seeing it.

the cpu pcmcia cards is an old thing. i have seen them before. the one i saw
was 33MHz. even though its a slow cpu it will make your pc go a lot faster
then you think it would make it go. i think i can't find one because they do
not sell them anymore.
