Hi,

I've installer MSI afterburner and HWIN to monitor the usage and temperature of my cpu/gpu.

I can see everything i want except for the cpu temperature. The only cpu temperature option i can find in HWIN is "CPU peci". I tried to google it, but i'm not sure about what it is. Is this the core temerature of the cpu?

If so, how high can this be for my processor (4790k)?

If not, what's the proper explanation of peci?

And one more question: are there any other options to monitor my cpu temp? (Something like 'cpu temp' and not 'cpu peci')

Thanks in advance!

There should be also the option to monitor your CPU temp itself. If i remember correctly there is an option for every single core and an option for the whole CPU, which i used just a few days ago. But i used HWiNFO for that. It also works with the RivaTuner just like the MSI Afterburner, so you'll only need to get HWiNFO (probably 64 bit version) and then look up a short guide where to display CPU temps and stuff.
