Question CPU power pin heads

So, basically i'm building a new PC, and while doing the cables i noticed that the cpu power cable pins don't match with the pins on the motherboard, does it matter? it fits.

What motherboard and PSU?

You very likely have the wrong PSU connectors for the CPU power, which is why they are keyed to the correct pins so that they are not confused with the PCIe power connector.
