My i5 10th gen I got 3-4 months ago all of the sudden started to crash. The whole screen would freeze and the sound would emit a low buzz. I cannot get the computer to start up anymore, as if it has no power. Any ideas?

Certainly a PSU failing is a common occurrence, and, would be a relatively simple swap. (NOTE: do not mix any modular cables between the two if you swap them even for troubleshooting)

YOu can also switch to a minimal system, disconnecting SATA data cables and power cables from all drives, removing any unneeded add on/add-in components like sound cards, network cards, wired keyboard/mice, USB hubs, external USB drives, and, even dropping to one RAM stick while trying to at least get a good POST...; beyond that, a PSU will be needed to try to mostly rule that out. (even assuming the replacement is absolutely good is only a 98% success probability)

I replied in a similar thread earlier, the crashing with the sound could be an issue with the RAM, but the fact that it no longer fires up at all is a bit more worrying.. How long has it been dead for? And try to think if there was anything in particular that happened between it working and then not

I just had to replace a 5 year old Cooler master power supply. I opened up the case to see 2 lights lit up on the motherboard so i didn't think it was the power supply either.
I took it to a repair shop, they charged me $25 and I ordered and put in a new power supply.
Problem solved.
Don't think, just because you have lights on on the mobo that your power supply is good ,is a wrong assumption.
