CPU (q6600) high temperatures

I bought a Q6600 (used) like 3 months ago,
but just now i realized that the CPU is idling at 60-65c

Is that too high?

60-65 degrees is fine. how hot is it under load?

and yes you can have a gtx 1080 if you pay for it.

Uhh 80 maybe? I just played BF3 and it crashed and rebooted my PC.
And is a GTX 560 good enough for it or is it too good?

That's high for idle but won't cause damage. Load temperatures probably are too high though.

that's a bit high, try reinstalling the cpu cooler, fiddling with the fan speeds. or maybe buying a new one, there are some decent cheap ones like the tx3 for around 30 bucks..

I used Prime95 and it went up to 81c. Is a DEEPCOOL ALTA 7 cooler enough?

the deepcool alta looks good for stock clockspeeds.
