Honestly I would choose neither, if the system in your sig is what you are looking to upgrade. That PSU is not something I would consider safe to use.

I agree. You need to consider the end of life for Windows 10. You need a 3xxx series processor for Windows 11 compatibility.

Honestly about the windows thing I mostly use debian, I only use windows maybe a few times a month for certain games. Can you recommend a good PSU under bout $45

Unfortunately there are no good PSUs for cheap like that anymore. This corsair unit is about a cheap as I would ever want to go with current pricing. But for 30 dollars more you can get an actually really good PSU like this one.

Refurbed by who?

Refurb meaning what exactly?

Warranty compared to new?

At how much of a discount from new?

Offhand, if forced to buy a refurb of a computer part, PSU would not be high on my list.

It's personal judgement. We don't know how you feel about risk.
