I was wondering if I could possibly upgrade my 4gb DDR2 to 8gb DDR2, and my CPU to a C2Q Q6600 to make a neato semi $100 gaming rig (for lower end games anyways). And would the motherboard support a GTX 650. I'm upgrading the Dell Optiplex 780 in case you want to know. The motherboard is a Dell 0200DY. If the motherboard can't support all 3 parts, I'll just get a new one.

Solution
Depends on the 780 - I went to Crucial.com and used their memory configurator, and it looks like the OptiPlex 780 comes in:
* Desktop - 16GB max (4 slots) DDR3L only
* MiniTower - 16GB max (4 slots) DDR3 or DDR3L
* Small Form Factor - 16GB max (4 slots) DDR3L only
* Ultra Small Form Factor - 4GB max (2 slots) DDR3L only

So, if you have an Ultra Small Form Factor, you're out of luck. If you have one of the others, you can upgrade the memory, though I'm assuming that each slot has a 4GB max. But, it looks like it takes DDR3, not DDR2.

Unless the motherboard is out of a different Dell system?

As for the CPU, someone else appears to have used the Q6600 successfully. The thread is here...
