[SOLVED] cpu reaches 75 degrees when encoding with Handbrake

Hi, yesterday I got this program called HandBrake. And I was using it to encode the videos recorded from a game.
the video quality that came out is quite good. A 20 GB file was encoded and converted to a 3GB file size in just 3 hours, I'm satisfied with the encoding speed.

it's just the temp that I'm a bit worried about.
noticed that the cpu temp reaches 75 degrees. Is this normal for i7-2600k?



the gpu is sitting at a cool 34-35 degrees and only 5 % utilized. So it gives me the idea that Handbrake is a cpu dependent program.

if you use hardware accelerated encoding, it will use GPU and it will be much faster than with CPU
nvidia calls it nvenc

for that 75degree on full CPU usage..thats fine temperature

just one more post to this thread. That info you gave for Handbrake to use the GPU instead of the CPU, it helps my backup pc as well. Can now use the GTX 1650 to encode instead of the Q9500. So thanks again.
