Last night my pc just turned itself off while unpacking a game. No bluescreen nothing just turned itself off, i turned it on and it was slow and turned itself off after a few seconds, I thought something broke but maybe it was just overheating and i was right. I let it cool down and then turn it on again. It didnt turn off anymore even after 2 hours of use. but when i checked during those times my CPU was reaching temps upto 80-85c and simply booting up the browser or literally anything that would use 10% or more of the CPU would cause it to rise up to 90-95c.
Ive changed my thermal paste and reseated my cooler and nothing really changed. Ive also noticed that my clock speeds are around 3600-4100 MHz even on idle so i went to windows and changed my power plan to power saving and now it keeps my clocks at around 1700 MHz, but lowers my performance on games by a noticeable amount. but has kept my pc at a safe 55 to 60c.
How can i know if my AIO is failing? or could it possibly be an issue with my CPU?
ive checked the tubes of the AIO and one tube is alot hotter than the other and theres still a bit a vibration.
What i havent done yet right now is clean the radiator of my AIO
PC specs:
Ryzen 5 3600
PowerColor Rx 570
HyperX 16 gb ram
Corsair CV650
