CPU Recognized, won't boot into windows installation???

I have a biostar gf7100p-m7s DDR2 board with lga775 and I have tried both a core 2 duo e8400 and a core 2 quad q9300 and both are recognized, but the website (biostar) says they aren't supported... I can literally go into bios and OC them.. I put windows installation on a hard drive and it started to boot into it after I set the HDD to primary boot device, then the wheel thing spun around a few times and I got blue screened. Not sure what to think.. I put my old pc back together that plays wow on fair settings and the motherboard is a serious bottleneck, so I really need this to work

Your motherboard probably needs a BIOS update.
What windows version are you installing?

Trying to install windows 10. I don't know how to bios update w/o windows on it, but is the processor not the problem?

Are you installing 64bit version of windows 10?
Some older processors might not be supported:
To install a 64-bit OS on a 64-bit PC, your processor needs to support CMPXCHG16b, PrefetchW, and LAHF/SAHF.

You can try 32bit version.

I'm trying to install 64 bit windows 10, I used both of those processors (using the quad one right as I type this) on 64 bit windows 7 and right now I'm on windows 10 with it

I can't install it on a different motherboard, I'm on a lenovo turd motherboard right now.
