Question CPU recommendation

Hello to all, I'm planning on getting a better CPU for my system, could anyone recommend me a good CPU that would work with my motherboard?

Here are my system specs

CPU: Intel Core i3 4160
Motherboard:ASUS H81M-R
Ram: Kingston HyperX DDR3 1600 MHz 4GB ( HX316C10F/4)
SSD/HDD: HDD Toshiba DT01ACA050 500 GB and Western Digital WD5000AVVS-63M8B0
GPU: AMD Radeon R7 200 Series
PSU: Seasonic S12II 520w 80+ bronze
Chassis: Take MS (generic chassis)
OS: Windows 10 Pro 64bit

The 4790K is going to be the best CPU for you motherboard but are generally the most expensive. A 4790 non K variant or a 4770K or 4770 offer only slightly less performance but are generally a fair bit cheaper.

What do you usually do or expect with this?
If you at the edge of your budget .. I think it's better if you can add some more RAM and i5 at least.
4GB RAM with i7 is not the best thing to do. kind of wasting.
So consider this too.

Thank you all for your advice so far. I would also like to add some RAM, so that I have at least 8 GB, but there is a problem with one of the slots on my motherboard (and it only has 2 slots), if I put any kind of RAM it causes the system to boot up and down 3-4 times before booting successfully (I had a topic for this open, was unable to resolve)

As for what I usually use the PC, mostly surfing the web, watching videos, chatting, and I also do some gaming (though mostly older games or indie titles), since I know my GPU can't handle modern games.

Since I upgraded to Windows 10, I've noticed a slight slowdown (though it was never a fast system), and now I would like to upgrade it without having to get a whole new PC.
