Question CPU recommendation ?

I recently scored an RTX 5070 Ti on Facebook marketplace brand new for 850 CAD, current CPU is a 5700X.

I'm looking to upgrade to AM5, so any good CPU recommendations? I already have the motherboard and RAM:

Motherboard: Gigabyte X870
RAM: T-Create 6000mhz Cl30

If your system is meant for gaming, then a 9800X3D would be the best processor for the job. What is the purpose of your build/upgrade? What is your budget and your preferred site for purchase?

3D design, Work and some 1440P gaming at 144 Hz. Upgrading since my 3060 can't really handle what my job currently requires

I switched from an RTX 3060 to a 4070 last Black Friday. This should knock an hour or two off long 4K video transcodes. I'm running a 7950X, but if your 3D apps benefit from 16 cores and you're a gamer, consider the 9950X3D. Best of both worlds. Cores for work and cache for games.
