Hey everyone,

I'm having a serious issue when trying to stream Counter-Strike 2 using Streamlabs. My FPS drops drastically from around 600+ down to 80–200, and the game becomes super choppy and laggy — completely unplayable.

Here’s what I’ve tried so far:
  • All in-game settings set to Low
  • V-Sync disabled, tried both with NVIDIA Reflex on and off
  • Running in Fullscreen mode
  • NVIDIA Control Panel settings set to:
    • Vertical Sync: Off
    • Power Management: Prefer maximum performance
  • Switched resolution from 3840x2160 (native) down to 1920x1080 — no difference
  • Tried both Game Capture and Display Capture in Streamlabs — same result
  • Created a brand new scene in Streamlabs — no change
  • Changed Streamlabs output settings:
    • Tried different bitrates and video encoders
  • All graphics drivers are fully updated
  • IGPU is disabled
  • Windows is Fully updated .

System Specs:
  • CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D
  • GPU: NVIDIA RTX 5090 (drivers version 576.80)
  • RAM: 64GB DDR5
  • Monitor: 4K OLED 240HZ
  • CPU cooler: NZXT 360MM KRAKEN
  • Motherboard: MSI MPG Z790 Carbon Bios version 7E49v1A50 (latest)
  • SSD: Samsung 990 PRO
  • PSU: Asus ROG Strix GOLD 1200W (3 months old)
  • Chasis: NZXT H9
  • OS: Windows 11
I feel like I’ve tested every possible setting and workaround, but nothing has helped so far. Has anyone experienced similar issues or have any ideas on what else I can try? I’d appreciate any insight!

Thanks in advance.

When posting a thread of troubleshooting nature, it's customary to include your full system's specs. Please list the specs to your build like so:
CPU:
CPU cooler:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:
Monitor:
include the age of the PSU apart from it's make and model. BIOS version for your motherboard at this moment of time. Include the driver version for your discrete GPU. Is the iGPU disabled in BIOS? Did you let the OS download and install drivers meant for your platform or did you install all necessary drivers with the latest version in an elevated command, while in offline mode(after OS install)?
