Hi, I have i7-4790, gtx 1050ti asus cerberus 4gb oc. I am playing rome 2 total war with custom setting (High-Very High) 1080p. When at battle or campaign map CPU run 75-83 Degrees C with 20-25% usage, GPU 55 Degres with 75%. Is CPU too hot ? CPU with idle is 40-45 Degrees. My country temperature is 30-32 Degrees.

Solution
Your CPU is running at a perfectly safe temp. If you were in the 90's I'd be concerned, but there is nothing wrong with the temps you've reported. If it continues to be an concern for you, there is always the option of a better CPU cooler, but I don't think you need it.
Might want to list yours specs like so:
CPU:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:

Also include the sort of airflow you have in your chassis and if you've reapplied your cooler's thermal paste. Speaking of which, how old is the system?

89 is getting uncomfortably warm. It isn't terribly dangerous, but it is something to keep an eye on. If it starts getting into the mid 90's then you should really do something about it. You could add more case fans, or reconfigure them to draw more cooler air over the CPU area. You could change your CPU cooler to something more capable, or even go with an AiO water cooler. You could take off the CPU cooler, clean it and the top of the CPU really well, then apply a high quality thermal paste. You have some options, you could even try some of them now if you wanted to. It is all up to you. You can run it as is and probably not have any issues, or you can try to improve your cooling.
