So I recently had some problems with my cpu (fx 8320) running hot and shutting down my computer. I think I fixed the problem my reconfiguring my fans and my corsair h100i v2 and doing a deep clean on the radiator. Now that my PC runs without shutting down, I tried loading a couple games and then ran my VR. My cpu booted with 32 degrees and while going through steam and the internet and downloading some stuff I noticed that it leveled out at 52 degrees and then after about an hour of fallout 4 vr, it jumped up to 72. I'm pretty sure I applied thermal paste correctly and seated the cpu correctly. Any more suggestions for bringing down temperatures. This really shouldn't be much of a problem with my h100i v2.

Are you overclocking at all?
It may be worth just re-ensuring that thermal paste is adequate and the cooler itself is seated firmly and securely.
Do you use your CPU cooler fans as intake or exhaust?
How is general air flow for your case as a whole?
Have you manually adapted fan speeds to see if you can increase RPM and see if it makes a difference?
