today i was just playing game ( mafia 2 ) and suddenly my cpu shut down .... there was no power cut or anything like that...it happens to me 2 times today

here are my pc spec.

PSU - Beetel BT-450 (450W)
Processor - AMD Phenom II X2 555 3.21 GHz
Memory - Corsair 4GB DDR3
Operating System - Windows 7 32-bit
GPU - Nvidia Geforce 9500GT 1GB DDR2

what do you mean by cpu shut down? is it black screen or is it your PC shut down? if it only happens when you playing games, it could be your graphic card being stressed out. it could also be the power supply cannot handle the load.

The CPU doesn't have a power button. Do you mean the tower? Or the switch on the back of the PSU? You might check the thermal paste on your CPU if it is indeed your CPU. And like ZXT said, might be time to upgrade your graphics.

That's the tower. The CPU is your processor. CPU = Processor. This is your CPU "AMD Phenom II X2 555 3.21 GHz" CPU = Central Processing Unit. The power button is on your CASE or TOWER.

So you're saying you're entire computer is shutting down and it may be something other than the CPU causing the problems. Like I said. I would check to make sure nothing is overheating.
