CPU Socket pins bent, how to recognize if a damage happened?

Hi guys.
My motherbord just finished its life and I bought new, luckly a one store still manage to have MB with 1155 socket (replaced from msi ba-e33 to gigabyte h61 sp2v rev2.2).
During the assembly of the CPU I succeed to bent 2-3 pins in the MB socket, I also manage to fix it using magnifier and metal toothpick,
But my question is how do I know for sure that I fixed is correctly? As for now (passed about 2 hr) all seems to be fine, temperature signals are OK, it there any test I can run to verify that everything is ok?

If it's up and running , you are probably all set , All you can do is monitor it at this point , good job fixing the pins.

MSI is better.

H61 Chipsets can have issues with newer cards , therefore the MSI B75 is the better board.

I'm running GTX980 on it...

No you won't notice a difference and if it runs a 900 series card , your all set.
