Cpu socket pins bent

Guys as my 3-4 pins are bent but the pc is working without any problems should i tinker with it. Send it to RMA? Or keep using my 6700k(risk)? Pls i want your experiences with this problem! Pls help i am really in critical situation. Its an gigabyte mobo.

If you can RMA, I would do it. Why take the risk?

I personally dont know whether they will accept it for an Rma.

if you can try to RMA it. but if you ended up bending the pins on your own i think the warranty is voided. some pins regulate the voltage going to the CPU so depending on what pins are bent you can risk damaging your CPU or shortening the life of the CPU or mobo

Were the pins bent upon opening the plastic cpu cover? If so and you aren't at fault, i'd definitely get a replacement.

If you can RMA, then do not try to fix it yourself.

I am surely going to RMA it as its not much worse in condition and system is booting properly but i cant risk a CPU. I will try to get new board.

Hello everyone here i am with good news. Gigabyte did my RMA successfully my board is as good as new they fix every problem in it and also told me that my warranty wont be voided and will be continued as it was. They replaced the socket with new one, free of cost. Really loved gigabyte's service. And all this in just 2 days i also thanked my retailer as i didnt have to pay any shipping charges too. I honestly told them i broke the pins so they accepted it gladly. Very happy now.
