Board is a Gigabyte Z68XP-UD3H-B3 part, and the CPU is an i5-2500K.
So I was attempting to install the Hyper 212 Evo that I received in the mail yesterday and, for whatever reason, I found the instructions unclear, especially pertaining to the backplate. In my fiddling with it, I nicked some of the CPU socket back, and two small pieces - similar to the ones in the center of the socket's front side - broke off. I found one of them, but the other is missing.

From what you guys know, what's the damage? I'd also like suggestions for replacements, if possible.

It's the ones that can be seen in the centre of the backplate, yes. A google search doesn't call up capacitors that look like that, however.
Edit: Don't have pictures of my own, out of the house at the moment, sorry.
Edit 2: According to an overview of another motherboard, the capacitors on the socket rear are related to the CPU's power phases, and that "Those installing an aftermarket cooling solution need to make sure not to damage these parts when using an aftermarket backplate." Really not looking good from my angle. Thoughts?
