Hey guys, so i been planning to buy a new CPU for my computer. here's the CPU that i wanted to buy https://www.amazon.com/Intel-Skylake-Desktop-Processor-BX80662I56500/dp/B010T6CWI2/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1475992832&sr=8-1&keywords=BX80662I56500 Now i'm pretty certain that it won't fit on my motherboard, and the CPU will not come with a fan since it's second hand, so I might have to upgrade my motherboard and my CPU fan as well and probably rams. My question is what is the "cheapest" motherboard and CPU fan cooler for this GPU that i could buy , and even better a motherboard that support DDR3 for rams so I don't have to buy rams. Thank you so much in advance for your suggestions and comments.

An i3 6100 can handle a 750 ti without a sweat. Dont go for the graphics card, an i5 6500 would give slightly better performance but it really wouldn't be needed, the same money would be much better utilized on a better graphics card like the GTX 1060 3GB(about 3-4x better than 750 ti)

There you go, a brand new and cheaper option.

Is this PC for gaming? What graphics card will you be pairing with it?

I actually gonna buy a second hand GPU so i'm also looking for a fan cooler to pair it with, and do you think this mobo will do? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128822&nm_mc=KNC-GoogleAdwords-PC&cm_mmc=KNC-GoogleAdwords-PC-_-pla-_-Motherboards+-+Intel-_-N82E16813128822&gclid=CjwKEAjwsuK_BRDD9ISR1bawwUwSJACbOiixRT1R7mUnpcZw-IdA8vfMqwnHkuly_HvqT_i3tKg1pxoCDx_w_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds it also has ddr3 I'm not too sure though. Thanks for your suggestion

You need an 1151 socket motherboard for skylake processors. May i ask what used graphics card you plan on pairing with it? You might be better off with an i3 6100 instead of the i5 6500, and use the saved money on the graphics card. The i3 6100 can handle cards like the RX 480 and GTX 1060.

You can use the DDR3 rams that you already own on this board.

Please change that form 1155 to 1151 so he doesn't get confused.

Does i3 6100 gives a better performance than 6500 in terms of FPS? because I'm upgrading my CPU solely because of FPS boost , my GPU is not that high end it's GTX 750 ti. Thank you again
