It is about time to upgrade my PC. I5-6600k / GTX 1070 just isn't cutting it on intensive games like warzone, etc.
So I found a bundle with a 12900k/mobo with 32gb of ddr5 6000 Ram. I wouldn't even know how to begin reasearching this, so figure I would ask. But is there an issue that I will run into with this budle. I have read something about matching the speeds of the cpu with the Ram and just wasn't understanding. Will it be plug and play or will I have to mess with the OC to make it run smoothly.
Side-bar, I will be keeping my 1070 for the short term and invest in a better card in a couple months or so.
Would appreciate all the info and guidance. I built this PC when the 1070 was new and can't believe how old it is already. And so many good deals on cpus right now.
Also understand these bundles could be cheap because they come with bad parts. It is an asus prime mobo, and gskill ripjaws 32gb ddr5 6000 CL36 Ram. It appears to be the best value for money bundle, unless I am asking for more trouble with these parts.
