I have a laptop hp elitebook 840 g2
My cpu base clock is 2.30ghz and it has turbo boost 2.0 with a max of 2.90 ghz .
Now recently i reinstalled windows 10 pro and i configured everything then i watched some yt tutorials to boost fps in a gta v after doing that i saw a minor fps improve but i also saw that my cpu speed is lower because when when i enter a browser or anything the speed goes up to 2.90ghz max but now it only goes up to 2.69ghz max and in games it even lowers to 2.30 ghz so is there i can do to fix this ?

P.S: there were also some regedit files in those "optimization" video
