Hi a week ago my computer sometimes would booting and give me and error "CPU fan speed error, check cpu_fan header" but it was all connected and if i restarted it would boot normally and through CAM (my cooling is a kraken x62) i could see that the cpu temperature were normal.

Today instead i boot up the computer and the error is "Cpu temperature too high", in the bios in fact the temperature is around 89 celsius. i though it was because the kraken usually starts its fan when CAM is loaded, so i removed the usb cable so that the motherboard controls its fans. Doing this all the fans starts at full power but the temperature stays the same, it's like the kraken doesn't even cool.

the cpu fan errors started when i opened the computer to clean dust with the canned compressed air.

I build the computer one year ago, it worked fine until today

This is my computer (plus a 250gb samsung ssd) https://pcpartpicker.com/list/rNgmd6

From the pump there is 1 cable that connects to the power supply, one that connects the 4 fans on the radiator, and the last one goes to the cpu_fan header on the motherboard. The pump also has a min-usb cable that connects to the motherboard. If the usb is connected CAM decides the fan speed, if not the motherboard controls those though CPU_FAN

Try re-plugging the fan cables. and put the pump in the cpu 1 fan slot, if there is a cpu 2 slot then use that for the fans if the fans need more than 1 slot then use system fan slots as well. also try screwing your cooler/pump in more not too much, just make shore that direct contact is happening between the cpu and aio (cooler).

I'd RMA the cooler, if under warranty.

Now it works...I think the pump was stuck, i tapped on it a bit and now it works, i'll keep an eye on it though.
