My cpu is running about 34 degrees Celsius is that okay? It's a Xeon e3 1231

Anyways, 34C is not bad. As long as you keep it under 60-70C you should be ok.

What kind of cooler are you using?

Yes, that's fairly low, assuming this is at idle when the CPU's not doing much. What would be considered a high temp is around 80C and up.

Temperature is decent. Is your case well ventilated? Do you have a positive air flow?

Yes its ventilation is pretty good I could add another fan on top you think I should

It all depends on the system, size and rpm of the fans you are using, make sure you have enough fans blowing fresh air in and fans sucking the hot air out (positive air flow)
It doesn't hurt to have an extra fan on top if you have the option on your case, it may help on the temperature of the system, as well as on the CPU itself.

Good fans are cheap now days, go with 120mm or 140mm from Cougar, Noctua or Corsair.

If that's the temperature you're getting with the stock cooler while running something as CPU-heavy as DayZ, then that's excellent.
