Hello, I'm having a bit of a problem with my CPU, just recently every-time i play a game no matter what it is my CPU will go 75c+ and around 40-43c when idle, but my CPU usage is around 35-40%, the CPU fan will stay around 1500-2000 RPM, my case has allot of airflow and all the fans in it are on max, two hours ago i cleaned off and re-applied the thermal paste, and yet i still have this problem. Another thing, when i play CSGO for around a hour+ i will get blue-screened with "CLOCK_WATCHDOG_TIMEOUT" which i heard is caused by the cpu . Not really sure what to do.

Specs -Windows 8.1
-Intel Core i7 2600K @ 3.40GHz
-8.00GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 802MHz
-NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760
MB- ASUSTeK Computer INC. P8Z68-V PRO GEN3

3 Steps to enlightenment -

Step 1 - blow out your case to get rid of dust build up - especially coolers, fans and filters. Bump up you cpu fan rpm. Get rid of any cpu overclcok - reset bios if you have to.
You should be getting cpu temp (per bios/uefi) of 35C max on idle and 55C max while gaming
Step 2 - re-seat the cooler - Google it.
Step 3 - get a better cpu cooler.

@i7Baby I've already gotten rid of all the dust in my case, i don't have anything overclocked at the moment but i just did a bio reset then anyway.

@EasyLover I'm using just the stock cooler.

I just replaced the CPU fan, its just another stock fan, the temperature has gone down a little when idle, but I'm still getting 80C at some points when gaming.
