CPU: Intel Core i7 8700K
GPU: NVidia GeForce GTX 1080
Motherboard: Z370 Gaming Pro Carbon

When ever i load a game, lately ive been playing CSGO, and my temps instantly skyrocket and are around 203 fahrenheit. No idea what is causing it. all my fans are working. have re-applied heat sink to my cpu. any advice on how to fix this?

Yikes that is a bit high. Make sure you don't use too much thermal grease (just a tiny pea size will do) and you tighten it down properly. Also make sure the fan on the heatsink is connected to the motherboard and is spinning.

I would open the case and run with the case open and maybe set a desk fan blowing some air in there and see if you get better temps. If they are significantly better I would add case cooling.
Also, I would check to make sure the cooler is snug.
Also, I would go into the BIOS and see what can be done with the fan curve.....but not until I did what I mentioned first.
