Stock coolers usually come with pre-applied thermal paste, so that shouldn't be an issue as long as 2 steps were followed correctly. Step 1. Remove the clear plastic protective film from the thermal paste. Step 2. Press the cooler down firmly until it snaps in, with a minimal amount of sideways motion. You did do step 1, didn't you?

What app you using to check your temps? Can you post it?
I suggest running hwinfo64 as it will give you min, max, and average.
Better reseat your stock cooler and make sure enough(not too much and not too little) thermal paste. Rice grain like as they say

No, drivers doesn't have to do anything with the bios temp reading. Download hwinfo64 after you install windows and let me know the temps and we troubleshoot from there. It will still run even without the drivers installed

Just put a DVD drive in. Tried to load windows from disc but window run into an error and shut down. The luck of the 1st build I guess. Lol going to format the HDD again to make sure its clean (no windows installed if it was before) the HDD came from my old computer that the local computer shop said That wiped out.
