CPU temp normal still Computer shuts down and restarts

Guys from the last few weeks my computer keeps shutting down and restarts automatically i cleaned the processor and heat sink but still the problem occured today i went to my computer guy he said that the heat sink is a little lose and i will apply thermal paste on the processor and before that my cpu temp was 80 to 95 then shut down but when i bring back my computer from the shop my CPU temp is 40 to 50 but its again shutting down what should i do Need help computer specs
Intel core i3 2100
4gb ram
DH61WW mobo
Corsair vs 550w PSU
Plz help =(
 
Solution
Do you have access to another PSU? The VS is the same manufacturer as the notorious CX series. Its very possible the PSU is not providing enough power which is causing your issue. When that happens the computer will reboot.


And do you think Vs Psu got ruined because of the fluctuation ? and i will call them tomorrow to replace this Psu hopefully they will give me another one =)
 


Hopefully they do, but I'm not sure. You should get a surge protector to prevent this from happening again. Thats probably why it broke.
