Alright guys I don't generally post questions on forums because in most cases I find an already answered thread here, but this time I'm losing my mind, the solution is nowhere to be found.

I'm trying to take care of my temps since I started playing demanding games. I'm using MSI Afterburner along with RivaTuner statistics. It used to work well for me, but after not using it for a while, it won't show my CPU temp anymore.
It shows my gpu temp, gpu usage, ram usage, fps, even CPU usage and CPU1,CPU2......CPU8 usage, but not CPU temp, I just can't find the option "CPU temp" under monitoring options, it's non existant. Speedfan won't show my CPU temp neither, but on the other hand, CoreTemp shows it perfectly, same as BIOS, so I guess the sensors are alright? I never overclocked or messed with any settings, its a new Ryzen 1500x, and the latest version of MSI Afterburner and RivaTuner.

Thanks in advance, if you need some more information just let me know, I'll post it ASAP.

And just a quick side question, is 82c at full load in a game such as Witcher3, on Asus turbo 1060 6gb, too high? A simple yes or no would be enough.
Thanks a lot.

MSI Afterburner doesn't show CPU temp. And for the gpu, it is pretty high, try increasing your gpu fan speed, and if that doesn't work you could buy some case fans if you have slots for them, they might help and are pretty cheap.

It did show the cpu temp before? Maybe on previous versions or something?
As for the GPU, it might have been a very hot day + 80% fan speed, its a bit colder today and I increased my fan speed to 100%, it ran at around 70c max, still hot?

had the same problem, you have to click in the tab "monitoring" active hardware monitoring graphs "..." and select cpu.dll - afterburner can pull the data than over aida64 and you can select it in osd as it used to be. cheers, just registered to answer that :)
