cpu temp spike today

so yesterday my ryzen 1700x while playing games was around 32c or 90 f while playing cs and rl and other games while today they hit around 35c to 40c. I'm assuming it's my ambient room temp since my computer is a few feet away from a heating vent in my room and it's sucking in hot air while yesterday it was off. my 1700x is at stock currently and I use a air coolers and thermal paste shouldn't be a issue since I just built in on December 5th.

around 20c or 68f , I use the Enermax ETS-T50 in black.

I'm actually surprised that cooler could keep temps that low, but I guess games (especially older ones like counter strike) don't nearly fully load that CPU.
