I built a computer yesterday and I was wondering whether these core temperatures are normal or if something is wrong. These are idle temps as well, haven't tested it with gaming yet.

Core#0 92C Min 100 Max
Core#1 92C Min 100 Max
Core#2 92C Min 100 Max
Core#3 91C Min 100 Max
Package 96C Min 100C Max

And this is my build:
Devil's Canyon Core i7 4970K
Gigabyte GA-Z97X-UD3H (rev. 1.2)
Corsair Hydro Series H50 120mm Quiet Edition
RAIDMAX Vampire RX-1000GH Power Supply
EVGA GeForce GTX 960 4GB Edition
Antec Nine Hundred Black Steel Case
Windows 7 x64 Professional

I can post the rest of the rig if relevant, I just assume the hard drive, RAM, and disc drive don't matter too much.

Those temperatures are very very hot for your CPU. What did you use to record these temps? because normally, if your system was running this hot, then it would start to carry out thermal shutdowns at this temperature, in order to protect the CPU. Idle temps should only be around 40-50c.

Whatever is recording these temps may be giving false readings.

Actually I just went in and made sure everything was secure, and as it turns out the H50 wasnt plugged in all the way, now I'm getting temps in the 30-50C range. Thanks for the quick reply though.
