CPU temps high even after applying thermal paste

My idle temp is between 40-60C and when i let HWMonitor run and leave the computer running it shows that max temp even goes to 80C

Im using stock Cooler on my i5 3570k

I reapplied thermal paste thinking that it must have dried up stock paste because it is now 2.5yrs old but temps are still high, and im not overclocking at all

Thermal paste used is Cooler Master IC V1

Prime95 on full load taked my CPU temp to 90C+ in 5min or even 3min

I know that these temps are not normal so what is the problem

CPU hungry games like DOTA 2 rockets up my CPU temp to 90C in 10min

And about airflow, it is not very ideal
I have only back 120mm exhaust ON and front 200mm(with my case) is off because there is no option to turn off red LED with it and no one on this forum has helped me in fixing that problem(which wire should be cut in order to cut off LED)
But temp wasn't a problem for more than 2 years with same config and nowadays room temp is also very less due to winters(10-15C)

I have Cooler Master enforcer case

Specs:
i5 3570k
600W corsair
8GB Ram
HD 7950 3GB boost

Well, with that type of airflow you can only expect that to happen...

For my fans I simply cut the wires to the LED's. alternatively just put some black tape over them, but that's where your issue is, give it some air!

I found the cooler on my case on google and it looks like this
http://www.pchub.com/uph/laptop/676-116377-27190/Cooler-Master-A20030-10CB-4MN-F1-Server-Round-Fan.html#

There are 3 wires going to the mid like heatsink so i don't know which is LED one
Left wire=Black
Mid wire=Red
Right wire=White

Any way to know which is LED one so that i can cut off red LED from my fan

Thanks for the suggestion, i cleaned my heatsink and now after 15min in DOTA 2 my max temp was 61C compared to 90C+ within 5mins
I feel like such a fool

All good, welcome to the club :pt1cable:

I usually use the small cans of compressed air and blow mine out a couple of times a year. I'm very glad that my suggestion helped.

I'm on mobile and it is showing my comment as solution so something is not right.
I couldn't find those compressed air cans online for cheap so i used my mouth for air and toothbrush to clean those vents and it was cleaned pretty nicely and it did the work for me
Temps are fine now, ran phantom pain for hours today it didnt go above 65C
Thank you again
