Question CPU Temps Should I be concerned?

I just built my new PC and its my first time building Mini ITX. While I was playing Monster Hunter Wilds my CPU temp shot up to 85C while GPU stayed at max around 65C. Is this normal in a ITX build to have high CPU temps or should I be concerned and look for possible issues? In the case the AIO is mounted in the top as exhaust while I installed x2 Be Quiet Pure Wings 3 in the bottom as intake. The PSU has intake from side panel exhausting out the top and GPU has fans against vented side panel for intake as well.

***NOTE*** While install the AIO I used the little cover sheet to apply the thermal paste into little hexes. I don't know if this is an actual concern or just me concerned, but I feel it wasn't enough thermal paste. I used Thermal Grizzly for this.

Any help is appreciated

Although 85c while gaming looks hot to me, it's not really concerning since it's far below the throttling limit of this cpu. But if you are not sure about the thermal paste then yeah you could do it again. In my experience, the simplest way is the best. Just apply the size of a green pea on the center and the pressure of the cooler will do the rest.

Take off all panels off the case and see if that changes your temps.

What BIOS version are you on for your motherboard? IMHO, if I was in your shoes, I'd have look into a B650 chipset motherboard with a better VRM design(something like this) instead of the A620 board you currently have in your build.

I just put together this build last week and have no intentions of swapping parts unless total failure occurs.

I'm not certain what BIOS version I but i updated to the newest just to use the 9700x

I will check temps with panels off when I get home

Tjmax is 95c so unless you habitually hit it, it's not too hot.
