Hey i was playing battlefield 4 when i started to realize that my cpu was exceeding 80 degrees Celsius, this was when i played for more than 2 hours. and then when i left the game it went down to 50 then 45... Is it dangerous for the cpu to run at these temps.
i5 760
Asus p7p55de-lx
sapphire radeon hd 7950
8gb corsair vengeance ram
cx600m powersupply and nzxt 410
thermaltake frio
with 2 exhaust fans and one fan in the front..

should i add more fans for better airflow ? ive checked the the thermaltake frio and ive correctly put a pea sized amount on the cpu and yea not sure what to do now the cpu fans are on low .. should i bump it up a bit

Solution
Yes, 80C is too high. Do as spp85 suggested.

Try and reseat the fan and re-do the thermal paste. Use some quality paste from a company like Arctic.
Are you overclocked the CPU ?? 80C while gaming is a bit too hot. If its overclocked try a less aggressive overclock to reduce the temperature also you can clean the cooler and apply a fresh coat of thermal paste to the CPU.
