Question CPU temps wrong?

So my core 2 quad q6600 was showing 74 to 79 degrees when i was playing Farcry 3 but it usually stays around 60 to 73 when gaming so i decided to stress test my CPU using CPUZ and it didn't go above 74. Should i be worried? should i change my thermal paste?

that model was released in 2007, so, changing thermal compound might not be a bad idea.... (be careful not to rip the CPU out of it's socket....)

Well now i tested with Metal gear solid 5 and temps are staying at 63 to 70 I'm really confused
